Mandurah Canals Christmas Lights

Every December, many of the beautiful houses on Mandurah canals are decorated in thousands of twinkling fairy lights and elaborate Christmas fare. The spectacle is only visible from a boat. We are very lucky to have some friends who have a house on the canals, and partake in the lighting up tradition (in a big way - their lighting is extravagent beyond belief - see below). Every year they take us for a tour of the canals in their boat. It is truly magical!

If you don't have your own boat, or friends with a boat... there is a big ferry that leaves from Mandurah Foreshore doing tours of the canals at $30 a head.

Here are some photos:

This is our friends' house / Christmas wonderland:

  1. I've done the canal tours during the day and found it a bit boring after a while...night time at Christmas definetely looks a whole lot prettier. I'll have to pencil it in for next year.

  2. When the concentrate is actually about the vacation by itself and it is accurate which means as well as objective instead of about the meals or even consuming condition, be more successful with regard to the one you love to concentrate much less onto it himself. Stress period collectively, actions, as well as customs which go beyond foods as well as checkout costa del sol things to do consuming. Allow meals be a assistance towards the vacation instead of it's main concentrate.
